OUR MISSION: To connect moms right where they’re at, through learning, growing, and serving together.
Learning how to be better equipped as a parent through speakers and group discussion on current topics that are meaningful to moms of today.
Growing through a supportive network of moms; growing through friendships; and growing in faith, as a result of being involved in the program.
Serving in the community through missions projects that are meaningful and impactful, while being realistic about each woman’s very busy plate.
Watch this short video to learn more about BBM. If you have an active Building Better Moms program near you, we encourage you to get involved. If not, share this video with your church and consider starting a BBM group within your community.
BBM members meet together in a larger group setting, but are connected with a small group of moms with whom they share a table at each BBM meeting throughout the year. BBM welcomes mothers with children who are early childhood all the way through their young adult years. The typical BBM program year follows the school calendar, beginning in September and concluding in May. The schedule is set to align as much as possible with area school and holiday schedules and can be altered to fit the needs of each community. BBM meetings run about two hours in length and each group meets approximately twice a month to enjoy food and fellowship, speakers, and group discussion. All groups also participate in mission projects and occasional social events outside of the meeting schedule.

WHAT MOMS ARE SAYING ABOUT BBM…
“We all need time away from our kids…and women enjoy a little girl time! We often don’t give ourselves credit for how important this is for each of us…and how much of an impact we can positively make on our lives and the lives of our families if we take time out for ourselves.”
Cathy B., St. Louis, MO
“I look forward to the meetings as a time to both listen and share with other Moms who understand where I’m coming from and listen with an open heart and understanding ear. When I leave the meetings, I feel ready to tackle the week armed with support of friends as well as a new approach/idea to try thanks to the speakers. That said, my overall wonderful feelings of BBM wouldn’t exist without the Missions. I really appreciate and enjoy the opportunities to serve with my BBM family!”
“I have liked all the speakers. Each one brings a unique spin on a mother’s world. I like the ones that have encouraged my husband and I to reconnect on all levels. It’s very easy to get side tracked with personal activities and kiddo activities.”
